Why we built this.
The market intelligence industry has a structural problem. Platforms collect more data than anyone can process. Consulting firms deliver insight that's stale before the ink dries. And the people who need strategic clarity — the executives making consequential decisions — are left to bridge the gap themselves.
We built Mirus Intelligence to close that gap.
Not another dashboard. Not another quarterly deck. A continuously delivered intelligence service that combines the speed and scale of AI with the judgment of people who've spent decades navigating market disruption firsthand.
Mirus Intelligence is the Clarity layer of Mirus Advisory — the always-on intelligence foundation that makes strategy possible and execution precise.
We build custom intelligence environments for each client, powered by AI that monitors thousands of sources in real time: competitors, technologies, regulatory shifts, funding activity, executive moves, market dynamics. Then we overlay that with ongoing strategic interpretation from senior advisors who understand what the signals mean — not just that they happened.
The result is intelligence that's continuous, contextual, and built to compound over time. The longer we work together, the sharper it gets.
Mirus Advisory operates on a simple premise: getting AI right means getting the sequence right.
The continuous market intelligence that reveals the landscape. What's happening, what it means, where things are headed.
Translates intelligence into direction — identifying where AI creates real competitive advantage and building the roadmap your leadership team can align around.
Turns strategy into execution — sequencing investments, building data foundations, compressing timelines from quarters to weeks.
Intelligence runs underneath all of it. It's the foundation that makes everything else faster, sharper, and more precisely targeted.
Mirus Intelligence is part of a broader family of ventures.
A family office established in 2005, investing in and building disruptive technology companies. For over a decade, Dwyer Lab and its affiliates have incubated multiple companies, invested in over fifty more, and advised hundreds of executives. Since 2018, the focus has centered on AI and automation.
An investment, incubation, and intellectual property venture founded in 2024, focused on assets designed to thrive as AI and automation fundamentally transform the economy. Mirus Ventures combines research, incubation, and venture investments — backed by multidisciplinary experts and AI-powered infrastructure — to build a portfolio of native AI business models.
An AI-native advisory and consulting firm that helps senior executives navigate technology disruption. Mirus Intelligence is its Clarity pillar — the entry point and always-on foundation for client relationships.
These aren't separate businesses with a shared logo. They're an integrated system — investment insight informs advisory work, advisory relationships surface intelligence requirements, and intelligence sharpens everything. The breadth creates an information advantage that no single-product company can replicate.
Joe Dwyer is an investor, technologist, and serial entrepreneur who started building technology companies thirty years ago. He established Dwyer Lab in 2005, began teaching entrepreneurship, venture capital, and disruptive technology at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management in 2013, and has focused his energy on AI and automation since 2018.
Joe founded Mirus Ventures in 2024 after fifteen years of designing and refining a model for creating and capturing disruptive value — one built specifically for the kind of fundamental economic transformation AI is driving.
The Mirus Intelligence team brings decades of combined experience in technology, corporate strategy, investing, and market analysis. The people interpreting your intelligence aren't junior analysts learning on the job. They're operators and advisors who've built companies, navigated market transitions, and advised leadership teams through exactly the kind of disruption your business is facing now.
The world doesn't need another data feed. It needs people and systems that can tell you what the data means for your business, your market, and your next move.
Strategy built on quarterly snapshots is strategy built on sand. Intelligence should be always-on, always accumulating context, always getting sharper.
AI is extraordinary at pattern detection, signal monitoring, and synthesis at scale. It is not a substitute for the experience-informed judgment that high-stakes decisions require. The best intelligence comes from combining both — and knowing where each one leads.
You can't make good decisions with stale information. Everything — strategy, execution, competitive advantage — starts with seeing the landscape clearly.
If you're navigating a market that's moving faster than your current intelligence can capture, we should talk.
